Oxford Citizens, Thank You for following the snow-emergency parking rules. Your cooperation helps us keep our streets clear during winter storms. —City of Oxford Public Works
SNOW EMERGENCY: During snow emergencies all vehicles must be off Augusta Ave. and vehicles must be parked on the odd side on odd days and even side on even days. If cars are not following our snow emergency ordinance (6-1-7: SNOW REMOVAL; PROCEDURE AND RESTRICTIONS) then vehicles can be towed at the owner’s cost.
REMINDER to all Residents and Business owners that sidewalks and curb areas adjacent to your property must be cleared of snow and ice in a timely manner following a snowfall.
Keeping sidewalks and curbs clear helps ensure safe travel for pedestrians, allows for proper street drainage, and supports emergency and city services.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep Oxford safe and accessible for everyone during the winter months. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Light Up the Night Decorating Contest! Your holiday spirit lit up our community and made Oxford shine brighter than ever.
Congratulations to our 2025 Winners! Business Winner: Tweaked Residential Winner: Cox Residence
We appreciate all the time, creativity, and holiday cheer each participant shared with our city. Thank you for helping make Oxford a festive and welcoming place this season!
