Santa Arrives in Style! - At 5:30 PM, Santa will make his grand entrance, escorted by the Oxford Fire Department and Johnson County Sheriff on the iconic Studebaker fire truck.

Dec 13th: Soup & Santa put on by The Mason's of Canopy Lodge #290. Free Will Donation soup luncheon at 11AM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in from 1PM to 3PM. Location: Oxford American Legion

Council Meeting Time Change:

As approved at the Regular Council Meeting on November 11, 2025, the City Council meeting time will change from the regular 7:00 p.m. start to 6:00 p.m. during the months of November through March. This adjustment is being made to accommodate Daylight Saving Time.

​

 

SNOW EMERGENCY: During snow emergencies all vehicles must be off Augusta Ave. and vehicles must be parked on the odd side on odd days and even side on even days. If cars are not following our snow emergency ordinance (6-1-7: SNOW REMOVAL; PROCEDURE AND RESTRICTIONS) then vehicles can be towed at the owner’s cost.

We invite you to decorate your homes or businesses for the Light Up the Night Decorating Contest! The voting and announcement will happen during LUO! There is a Trophy for the winners! Residents wishing to "compete" we would love if you would email your address to oxfordcityhall@southslope.net so we make sure that no one who is participating is missed for judging. Thank you!
