Whats Happening at the Library?
The library will be opening late Thursday, February 20 for off-site staff training. We will open from 5-7pm and host the Table of Context Book Club from 7-8pm that evening. Thank you for your flexibility.
Weekly StoryTimes are held at the library every Wednesday @10:30am. Bring the small kiddos and enjoy fun stories and songs.
Kids/tweens are welcome to the library every Wednesday early-out for Wacky Wednesday rotating activities and fun! In February, we’ll feature LEGO, Craft, Movie, and Tech Day. Activities start at 1:30pm (unless otherwise posted) and run 1-2 hours (depending on the activity). Can’t make it for the official activity? Our LEGO bins will still be out after the activity until close at 6pm.
Programs:
● 2/1 @ 10:30am: For Movie Morning this month, we’ll be showing the live action version of The Little Mermaid on the big screen! Bring the family and enjoy free movie snacks while you watch this movie on the big screen.
● 2/8 @ 3pm: Join us at Posy Bakery and Cakes in North Liberty for our Posy Pages discussion of All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker. This is a “Bring Your Own Book” book club in partnership with Posy Bakery and Cakes.
● 2/13 @ 5:30-7pm: Join our crafting group, Sit ‘N Stitch as we come together for another month of connection and crafting. This group meets the second Thursday of each month with no expertise required.
