"The library will be closed from August 20th to the 27th. All loans due within this period are excused until the library is open once again. If you have a DVD, game, or puzzle to return, we ask that you wait until you can bring said item into the library to return. Weekly StoryTimes are held at the library every Wednesday @10:30am. Bring the small kiddos and enjoy fun stories and songs.

Wacky Wednesday will take a brief break and resume the first week of school on 7/28. Activities start at 1:30pm and run 1-2 hours (depending on the activity). Can’t make it for the official activity? Our LEGO bins will still be out after the activity until close at 6pm.

Programs:
8/6 @ 5-6pm: Chapter Chats will be meeting for the last time to complete our read of The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. This is a read-aloud tween book club that meets weekly during the summer.
8/8 @ 5:30-7pm: Join our crafting group, Sit ‘N Stitch as we come together for another month of connection and crafting. This group meets the second Thursday of each month with no expertise required.
8/10 @ 3-5pm: Come to Creekside Park during Party in the Park for a showing of the classic movie, School of Rock! After a long day of fun for families, enjoy a shaded outdoor movie with popcorn. Attendees need to provide their own seating ie. blankets, folding chairs, etc.
8/15 @ 7pm: Join the Table of Context Book Club as we discuss Finding Me by Viola Davis. This nonfiction book club meets every other month to discuss a range of formats, and topics.
8/17 @ 12-4pm: Come to OPL after hours to play Dungeons & Dragons! Both seasoned players and beginners are welcome to join the roleplaying fun. Participants must be 14 years old and up. Visit the library's website to register.
8/29 @ 7pm: Join the After Hours Book Club as we discuss Happiness Falls by Angie Kim. If you'd like to join this discussion via Zoom, please send us a message for the link.
