Whats Happening at the Library?

The library will be closed Saturday, May 3rd for deep cleaning and opening late on Tuesday, May 13th (open from 4-6pm) . Due dates set during this period will be extended. Please wait to turn in games, puzzles, kits, DVDs, etc. until you can come into the library to do so. Thank you!

Weekly StoryTimes are held at the library every Wednesday @10:30am. Bring the small kiddos and enjoy fun stories and songs. Kids/tweens are welcome to the library every Wednesday early-out for Wacky Wednesday rotating activities and fun! Activities start at 1:30pm (unless otherwise posted) and run 1-2 hours (depending on the activity). Can’t make it for the official activity? Our LEGO bins will still be out after the activity until close at 6pm.

Programs:

● 5/8 @ 5:30-7pm: Join our crafting group, Sit ‘N Stitch as we come together for another month of connection and crafting. This group meets the second Thursday of each month with no expertise required.

● 5/10 @ 3pm: Join us at Posy Bakery and Cakes in North Liberty for our Posy Pages discussion of Mean Baby: A Memoir of Growing Up by Selma Blair. This is a book club in partnership with Posy Bakery and Cakes.

● 5/15 @ 7pm: Join us for CultureALL’s Open Book with JJ Kapur and Joshua Musonda! Open Book is a community initiative that creates connections with those of differing backgrounds.
